Giza, Egypt, Cairo, Great Pyramid, City Skyline

The most unexpected revelation during my trip to Egypt was the location of most of the major archeological sites. While I had always seen the pyramids, Luxor, Karnak, etc. to be like Ozymandias' feet, alone and surrounded by sand; the reality is that they are rarely even close to that situation. If you want to see a bus passing by Luxor at night, or lots of "tourist pix" of monuments, etc. send me a message via the contact page and I will send you the link to those. This is one of those rare images that work equally well in color and black & white. The black & white version is in that gallery.
